Scouting is fun, but there’s much more to it than that!

  • Scouts learn SKILLS through our Merit Badge program and activities
    • Camping
    • Personal Life Skills
    • Swimming
    • Hiking
    • Travel to remote locations
  • Scouts learn LEADERSHIP by taking on positions of responsibility within the Troop
    • Service
    • Leadership
    • Life-long Skills
  • Most importantly, Scouts develop CHARACTER as they learn Scouting’s values. After all, if we’re training skilled leaders, it’s important that they lead in the right direction.
    • Grow into responsible adulthood by developing core values based on the Scout Oath and Law (the “Spirit of Scouting”)
      • Duty to God
      • Duty to Others
      • Duty to Self
